It started with a mess of files.
We were always finding music we wanted to keep. A download here, an album there, a track someone sent us. Where it came from never mattered much. Where it ended up did.
It ended up everywhere. Downloads folders, old laptops, a drive in a drawer. Files with no tags, albums we forgot we had. With nowhere good to put music, we slowly stopped collecting it.
So we built the place we were missing. Drop your files in, and Monolith sorts out the metadata, the formats, and the storage, then plays everything from a real desktop app. We use it every day for our own collections.
